I just stumbled across my old PS3 the other day and thought about doing a little racing online against some humans for a change. I bought it mostly to use as a Blu-Ray player, but after the HDTV died I didn’t use it much. I could hook it up to a computer monitor, but that’s not the best for enjoying movies so I tossed it aside and just watched whatever was on Netflix.
To play against others in GT6 do you need to have Sony’s premium online account, or will the free account work OK? Do we have any sort of regular gathering around here? I see people racing on FM6 and Fourza, but haven’t seen much from the Sony crowd.

Hmm... so I want to make a PSN account because I have the GT6 Track Editor app, but then I don’t have a PS3. If I do pull up one, I’ll let you use it. But will you oath that you won’t use my PSN for no other reason than to transfer and play my created circuit layouts?

Free should work fine. Unless something drastically changed since April (when my PS3’s HDMI port went to hell)

Free works. There’s a group of us that play fairly often (me, blunion, Jay Lauer, TheLoudMusic, that one idiot with a black sable)

It’s free on ps3, but not on ps4, I’ve read.
My psn is blunion05. If you add me I will invite you to the oppo club on gt6. We play when night falls once every 3-5 days.
